The first step involves a thorough inspection of the tile or stone so we can identify loose grout, chips, cracks, lippage, or any other potential problems. An emulsifying solution appropriate for the surface will be applied to the tile and grout lines.
- The technician will agitate the grout lines with a grout brush to break the soil away from the cracks and crevices in the grout. This step can be the difference between a good results and a great results.
- On glazed tile and some stone surfaces we use a high pressure Turbo washing tool. This tool uses fresh water that can be super-heated from 175 to 260 degrees depending on the tile or stone surface. It can be amazing to watch this step as the soil is melted away leaving a clean and dry tile surface with no overspray of moisture.
Note: Some showers require a restoration process which is much more intensive and time consuming than the tile and grout cleaning process. We specialize in tile and grout cleaning restoration and our process is somewhat proprietary so we do not describe the details over the internet. We do guarantee results.
