Kelsey made the trip up from Marysville to our Bellingham wash-plant after reading our overwhelmingly positive online reviews! We were happy to live up to our online reputation by providing excellent and specialty rug washing services. Our team of rug experts were able to walk Kelsey through the cold water immersion washing process used to clean her woven wool rug; we start by mechanically dusting the rug to shake out some of the dust, dirt and hair that is easily trapped in a rug. We then ensure to minimize the risk of dye bleeding by performing a colorfast test on the rugs fibers. Next is the washing itself, we use cold water to immerse the rug while we wash each rug by hand. Once we are satisfied with the washing, we hang the rug up to dry. We make sure rugs are fully dry before rolling them up for either pick up or delivery. Kelsey was interested in learning about the process and thrilled with the end results at pick up!
