We tag your rug for identification and transport your area rug to our cold-water immersion wash plant located in Bellingham.

Once on-site, the owner of Steam Sweepers Rug Cleaning will perform a follow-up inspection with a trained eye for identifying any hidden issues. Based on the rug type our cleaning and washing process begins. After dusting the rug for loose dirt, we clean, wash, and rinse the rug to eliminate odors and stains.

We thoroughly dry the rug to prevent any moisture issues. The combing, brushing, and fringe grooming are done to revive its texture and overall look. Finally, we vacuum the rug post tumbling. We inspect the rug again to ensure the quality of the finished piece. When needed, we can also apply special wool-fiber protectors or moth prevention products to ensure a safe rug before returning it to your home.

Never use a vacuum with a beater bar on a fine short-piled silk rug.
