I have used Steam Sweepers LLC for well over 10 years, and they do an excellent job for me. The last time that I used them, it was for a particularly difficult group of carpet. There were five area rugs, and two wall-to-wall sets of carpets in a commercial setting. They are friendly and professional people. I have used them before, and I will use them again!

Art is a professional. He was so kind when explaining how he would clean our area rug that is hand loomed viscose. Extremely satisfied This company is great! I have some expensive area rugs that my husband and I have collected over 30 years. One was hung above a fireplace as an artwork and the bottom fringe became discolored from the smoke. When I collected it, the rug was totally clean, shining, like new...beautiful! And Mike Azevedo took 15-20 minutes to explain to me how to care for precious rugs. Things I had never heard before. I highly recommend this company and I am delighted at the result they achieved with my rug.

Best in Whatcom County! Dedicated! Professional! I'm a tough customer because I used to be in the cleaning business and know the right way to do things. Steam Sweepers is the best at what they do, hands down. There are two highly rated rug cleaning companies in Whatcom County and I've used the other one, once. Then I hired Steam Sweepers and I will never hire anyone else again. They know the precise science required for both my Oriental rug and my wall-to-wall carpet. Art Thomas trains his people well. They have excellent skills and a professional approach. They care about what they're doing. If a rug isn't done satisfactorily, they'll come back and clean it more thoroughly. No one is as good as Steam Sweepers. In addition to being the best in their field, they are prompt, neat, cheerful and friendly people. Art Thomas is a dedicated owner. I will hire them again. We could not have asked for better service and excellent results. Art did a very timely review & estimate (which was the lowest quote we got). Mike arrived a bit early (which was good) filled me in on the process & got right to work. It took almost 2 hours and our 14 year old wall to wall looks great, almost like new. We could tell that he liked his job & took pride in doing the best job possible, plus he was just plain nice ;{)

Great job and great service! True to form, Art and his crew did a great job. Being late on our rental preparation, I called Art with a request for a carpet clean and he was able to get us on his schedule and get the job done so we were timely for our new renters. Adam called to make sure we were at the property so he could get in the house. He was very thorough, considerate, polite and worked hard the entire time he was at our rental. He explained the process and what to expect for a finished result. From start to finish, Steam Sweepers is great!

Excellent service and fast. I had read an internet article by "the rug chick", about how oriental rugs should be cleaned. Art, and his team at Steam Sweepers, follow those methods. Art took time to talk about my rugs and explain to me what kind of rugs that I owned, and how to care for them (I found the knowledge that he shared fascinating). The Steam Sweepers Company cleaned and put protection on eleven large to medium sized rugs that I sent in two batches, May and June 2015. They all have come back with great color and pile. I have high praise and gratitude to Art, Adam, and the Steam Sweepers Company.

Could not appreciate more the job Art and company did for us in cleaning 2 - 9' x 12' oriental wool rugs. Fabulous job. The older - about 75 year old rug was so bright and vibrant we changed where we'd had it before, in a bedroom, to the living room, where it had been years ago, and the other bedroom rug is every bit as fresh and vibrant as when we bought it. The pick up and delivery was exactly as scheduled. Professional in every aspect.

Overall very satisfied Our experience with Steam Sweepers was fantastic. They did a really good job! They cleaned the carpet throughout our whole house and everything looks great. There is a small, 2x2 area in the entryway of our bedroom that doesn't look quite as great as everything else. Otherwise, I felt like the fees were very reasonable for the work done. The owner, Art, came and did an assessment of the work done. He was very helpful and professional.

This is the GO TO place for the best rug cleaning available. We had two 9' x 12' oriental wool rugs cleaned - one about 75 years old and another newer one. Both came back beautifully done. The older one was so bright we changed where we planned to put it to our living room and the bedroom rug is also a joy to behold. Art picked up and delivered when he said he would. We unequivocally recommend him, and his company for his great services.

Great job In a moment of inattention my dog got ahold of a can of green enamel spray paint and after a vigorous shake, punctured the can, sending paint all over not one but two Persian rugs. Art and his folks were able to save what I thought were surely ruined Tabrizes. Thank you Steam Sweepers. PS: for those worried about the dog, she didn't get any into her eye or mouth but her muzzle fur is sporting a SeaHawk color. Jim

Before calling Steam Sweepers I had called a different carpet cleaning service and was told their service would be able to clean my rug and permanently remove the unpleasant odor of a synthetic coming from it. As a result of this response I decided to get a second opinion and called Steam Sweepers. Art (the owner) was able to answer my call immediately. He said he would call me back shortly because he was presently busy with another customer on the phone. He returned my call promptly. He demonstrated reliability with great phone communication. I explained to Art I had a 9'x12' tufted wool rug which began smelling of a strong odor of synthetic rubber. I asked if he would be able to clean my rug to remove the smell. I told him I thought the odor was coming from the non-skid rug pad, and not the rug. Art said the odor wasn't originating from the pad but was coming from the rug itself. Art informed me, although my rug's label said 100% wool, some rugs with defective backings (undersides) were originally made improperly with a particular bad batch of latex adhesive, As a result of this, sometimes they will emit an odor when the carpet ages. He was very honest with me and said unfortunately cleaning would not remove the odor. I thanked Art for his knowledge and integrity. He saved me from the cleaning expense and further problems with my rug. It was my first time I called Steam Sweepers, and I was given clearly understood answers to my rug questions. I also appreciate Art did not make any sales attempt at pressuring me into having my other rugs or carpets cleaned. Art had nothing to gain from my call but he took the extra time to assist me with his valuable knowledge. I followed up the phone call and contacted the high end store where I purchased the rug. The furniture/ design store confirmed Art's diagnosis. The store said they will provide me a new replacement rug for free, due to the defect. The store no longer sells rugs with this latex issue. Thanks to Art again. I would have never thought of contacting the store where I purchased the rug because my rug was a few years old and I didn't know it was defective. Art not only knows about proper cleaning procedures but also knows about rug construction, and it allowed me to move forward with a positive solution. When the time comes for my other rugs and carpeting to be cleaned Steam Sweepers has earned my trust to provide the reliable and appropriate cleaning service. Nancy M. Anacortes, Wa

Excellent, very professional, wonderful service I had Steam Sweepers clean my oriental rugs. I talked to Art on the phone and I just knew he had the knowledge required to do the job correctly. I even had him wrap a rug that was moth proofed with their solution, to store it. He does a very nice job and will work with you and take the time to make sure that things are done properly.

My fine Oriental rugs are looking better. I just moved to Stanwood from Pennsylvania last Fall so I wanted my fine oriental hand woven wool rugs cleaned up for my new condo. I arranged with Art Thomas of Steam Sweapers to pick up my carpets when they were making other deliveries way South of Bellingham. They were able to submerge all the carpets for a thorough cleaning. All five rugs now look clean and bright. The rugs were returned in a timely fashion and under the original estimate because I miscalculated their size. I also appreciated Art's advice on how to maintain them between cleanings.

Wonderful job with our Chinese silk rug. I had a Chinese wool rug that was stained in a flood, and I took it to Steam Sweepers Carpet Cleaning. I had never heard of them before. They were able to get a lot of the stain out. I was very impressed, and asked Art about handling silk rugs. I have a Chinese silk rug that needed to be lovingly handled, and so I took it to Steam Sweepers. They did an absolutely exquisite job. He did everything he could do to the rug that wouldn't risk threatening the fibers. I was really pleased with what he could do for the rugs, and that he acknowledged the limits of what could be done as well. He also told me where to go if I did want to get a harsher, and potentially hazardous, treatment. He really did a marvelous job on the silk rug, and I have recommended everyone I know with a rug to Steam Sweepers. The price was wonderful, and it was incredible value for the goods received. The service was also fast, and I was incredibly pleased with the work Art did.
